Christmas Trees

Our Christmas trees are now on sale. We have Spruce and Nordman trees ranging in height as well as some in pots.

We also have a number of Christmas wreaths and holly.



Christmas Food Extravaganza

A massive thank you to all our suppliers and customers who came to our Christmas food extravaganza event on Thursday. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.

Cafe refurbishment

Due to the café undergoing refurbishment from Monday 24th November until Wednesday 26th November there will be a limited menu on offer but we will still be open as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Friday Street Christmas Food Extravaganza

On Thursday 27th November we will be holding our annual food extravaganza here at Friday Street Farm.

Local suppliers will be in the shop for you to come and chat to as well as sample some of their delicious products. It will also be an opportunity for you to do some Christmas shopping with a range of unique gifts on offer.

It will be held from 2.00pm until 8.00pm.

We look forward to seeing you all.

Christmas lunch at Friday Street Cafe

From the 1st December the cafe will be serving Christmas lunches every day up until Christmas Eve.

Home grown potatoes now on sale

Our potatoes have now been harvested and are available to buy in the shop. There are two varieties, red Stemster and white Saxon available in 10kg or 25kg bags.

The Great Friday Street Pumpkin Carving Competition

pumpkin carvingOur pumpkins are now being harvested from the fields and they can be found for sale in the shop. Why not pop down to the shop and buy one of our pumpkins and enter the pumpkin carving competition.

Today we are launching The Great Friday Street Pumpkin Carving Competition.

To take part please upload a photo of your pumpkin carving to our Facebook page or Twitter page and then the winner will be chosen on the 31st October.

The prize for the winner will be one of our Friday Street Children’s hamper.


Time for some great fruit and veg!

We are experiencing more wonderful sunny days here in Suffolk, although there is definitely a nip in the air every morning now and as my father regularly reminds me whenever I see him ‘the nights are drawing in.’

The next few weeks will see an abundance of excellent fruit and vegetables grown either here on our own farm or within a couple of miles at some of our local grower’s orchards and small holdings.

We have a superb range of apples. Trusty old cox and Bramley are in already and some lesser known varieties such as the Lord Lambourne and the Katy apple, which both have a beautiful flavour and great crunch a perfect apple for bobbing.

Happy New Year, Valentine’s Day & Easter

24th January 2013

It was gone in a flash! After all the build up to Christmas and New Year here at the Farm it feels like it was over in a matter of minutes. I hope you all enjoyed some time with family, friends and loved ones.

I have now been at Friday Street for nearly a year and the January period gives good time to reflect on the past year and to focus on the next seasonal events, Valentine’s Day and Easter. We have had a huge period of change in the past 12 months, rearranging the layout of the shop, modernising the look and feel of the shop in some areas and adding a Customer Card that gives the members, exclusive promotions and offers as well and points to spend in store.
