High Quality Produce. Locally Sourced.

Our Family Farm Shop

Owned and farmed by the Blyth family for three generations, Friday Street Farm has been serving the local community since 1976, when the farm shop first started selling a small amount of seasonal produce. Now it has grown into a bustling epicentre of rural life with an expanded Farm Shop and Butchery, a popular Kitchen serving wholesome food every day of the week and a permanent on site Fishmonger. Seasonally, we have Pick Your Own (P.Y.O) soft fruit. We only select the finest locally sourced produce to retail in the farm shop for your enjoyment at home. We welcome you to browse our store.

Fresh food.

Our wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables are restocked daily. We also receive deliveries of local free range eggs, milk, freshly baked bread and cakes, plus a fine selection of quality meat items which can be purchased from our fridges or our in-house butchery. We also offer fish from nearby smoke houses and delicious, locally sourced cheeses, preserves, pastas and more.

You can save yourself a trip into town and select a succulent cut of your favourite meat from our in-house butchery department. Our butcher’s reputation for superb meat and outstanding customer service is another reason to come to Friday Street.

With over ten polytunnels boasting five seasonal varieties of strawberries, as well as bushes of summer and autumn fruiting raspberries, you can pick whatever you want. Our staff also hand pick punnets to sell in store, so if you’re short on time you can still enjoy that ‘just picked’ freshness.

We stock fresh meals prepared by our butchery as well as a wide range of food for your freezer from ‘COOK’, all of which can simply be heated with minimal effort in the kitchen. We also sell frozen fruit and vegetables, allowing you to scoop as much or as little as you like, great for smoothies and quick to prepare meals.

We stock a wide selection of alcoholic drinks including;- local ciders from Aspalls, beers from local Southwold brewer Adnams, St Peter’s and Greene King; lagers from Calvors, and wines and fizz to suit every occasion. We also stock a selection of local artisan Gins.

Childrens toys, cards, sweets, chocolates, books, activities, scarves, handbags, soap, jigsaws and more. If you are looking for something truly unique, then why not ask a member of our team to make you up a gift hamper. You could include their favourite food, drink or a bouquet of their favourite flowers presented with a colourful ribbon.

We are expanding our farm shop to incorporate a brand new deli and cheese room. Our fabulous new extension will also showcase a brand new butchery with dry ageing cabinets. We will also be extending our fresh produce range to offer you a wider selection.

Free from.

We have a wide selection of ‘free-from’ items to suit a variety of dietary needs. You’ll find gluten free, dairy-free and egg-free items and more in our expanding range. We also have a selection of vegan sweets and chocolates.

We stock lots of tasty treats to keep your garden birds happy including nuts, seeds and fat balls. We also sell Salters nutritional dog food for your four legged friends. You’ll find a wide range of potting plants, a selection go fresh cut flowers and handy gardening tools. Seasonally, we have a selection of Christmas trees.
