FRESH FROM OUR FIELDS.
Strawberries & Raspberries
With over 10 polytunnels holding five seasonal varieties of strawberries, as well as bushes of summer and autumn fruiting raspberries, you can pick whatever you want, whatever the weather. Our Friday Street Farm team also hand pick punnets to sell in store, so if you’re short on time you can still enjoy that ‘just picked’ freshness.
Vibrant, Sonata & Flamenco
Our strawberry varieties are chosen specifically for our climate to get the perfect taste. We help them along with a lot of tlc throughout the year including weeding, watering and feeding. All strawberries are on tables for easy gathering and plenty hang down for children to reach too.
AVAILABLE: Late May – Early September
Glen Ample & Octavia
Glen Ample is a mid-summer variety of raspberry which produces large, bright red fruits with good flavour. The canes are spine-free making picking more pleasurable. Octavia is named after the Roman month of August, which gives you a clue as to when they are at their best. They are beautifully firm & have a superb, sweet flavour.
AVAILABLE: July – Early September
BUY SOME OF OUR JAM

Every year a quantity of our strawberries and raspberries are gathered and taken down the road to make our own small batches of fabulous homemade jars of strawberry and raspberry jam. We sell a variety of seasonal crops grown here at Friday Street Farm
Who doesn’t love the taste of fresh vegetables? We know we do. That’s why we grow vegetables here at Friday Street and source from surrounding farms. It lowers the food miles and tastes best when it is enjoyed seasonally.
